Short version: we store what you give us, we show other users what you'd expect a dating site to show, we strip location data out of your photos before they're stored, we don't sell anything to anyone, and you can have all of it deleted with one email.
Your email address, your date of birth (for the 18+ check), a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), your profile (name, city, bio, the drawn face and sandwich), your swipes, matches, and messages, any photos you upload, and reports you file or that are filed about you. That's the whole list.
Phone photos carry hidden metadata, including GPS coordinates of where they were taken. Before any photo you upload is stored, we strip all of that out — EXIF, GPS, everything. A photo is reviewed by a human before anyone but you can see it, and photos that fail review are deleted from storage immediately.
Your profile as you wrote it, your age (calculated from your date of birth — never the date itself), your city, and your approved photos. Your email address is never shown to anyone.
Data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure in the United States — the database, and photo storage. We use one cookie: the session token that keeps you signed in. No analytics trackers, no ad pixels, no third-party scripts.
Nobody, with two exceptions: service providers that host the data (Cloudflare), and law enforcement when the law requires it — including mandatory reporting obligations for content involving minors.
Email hello@delimeets.us from your signup address and ask. Deleting your account removes your profile, photos, swipes, matches, messages, and session — everything — from the live database. This usually happens within a few days of your email.
